Overview
Fos TV operates as a streaming reseller and provides access to live channels, on-demand movies, and series sourced from upstream content suppliers. We do not host, originate, or transcode the underlying media on our own infrastructure. Nevertheless, we take copyright concerns seriously and will act promptly on any properly formatted DMCA notification that identifies infringing material accessible through the Fos TV service.
This DMCA Policy is designed to comply with Title 17 of the United States Code, Section 512(c), which establishes a notice-and-takedown framework for online service providers. By using our service, you agree to abide by this policy and our Terms of Service.
Designated Copyright Agent
All DMCA notices, counter-notifications, and related correspondence must be sent to our designated copyright agent at the following email address:
Email: help@catchontv1.email
To ensure prompt routing, please include the phrase "DMCA Notice" or "DMCA Counter-Notification" in the subject line of your message. Submissions sent to any other address may be delayed or returned without action.
How to File a DMCA Notice
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent of a copyright owner and you believe that material accessible through Fos TV infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing all of the following six elements. Incomplete notices cannot be processed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work. A clear description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including registration numbers where applicable. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list will suffice.
- Identification of the infringing material. A specific description of the material you claim is infringing, together with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it on the service, such as the channel name, programme title, package, or direct on-screen reference.
- Contact information. Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email address at which we can reach you regarding the notice.
- Good-faith statement. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Signature. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that material you posted or referred to was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. The counter-notification must include: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which it appeared before removal; (c) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error; (d) your name, address, and telephone number; and (e) a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Fos TV may be found.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward a copy to the original complainant and may restore the disputed material after 10–14 business days unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed a court action seeking a restraining order.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Fos TV will, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, terminate the accounts of subscribers who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the service for any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is a repeated infringement. Determinations are made on a case-by-case basis after review of the totality of the circumstances.
Takedown Timeline
We aim to acknowledge properly formatted DMCA notices within two business days of receipt and to act on valid claims within five to seven business days. Because most channels and on-demand titles are delivered by upstream suppliers, our response typically takes the form of forwarding the notice to the relevant supplier and disabling the offending stream within our subscriber-facing electronic programme guide. Complex notices involving multiple works or jurisdictions may require additional time.
False Claims
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Submitting false, misleading, or abusive notices wastes the time of rights holders, service providers, and legitimate users — please ensure your notice is accurate and submitted in good faith.
